Emergence – Sculpture by the Sea

Public sculpture exhibited at Sculpture by the Sea (2018). Fabricated in steel and timber, the work proposes an enlarged reading of granular matter, translating the morphology of sand particles into inhabitable scale. Positioned within the coastal landscape, the sculpture functioned simultaneously as object, threshold, and informal resting place, encouraging tactile and bodily engagement between viewers and site.
